Earlier this week reports from a village within the East area of the Democratic Republic of Congo, state that a Mountain of Gold had been discovered.
Videos began emerging online showing villagers gathering and digging the mountain containing the gold deposits.
The villagers can be seen taking the soil back to their homes where they will wash the soil and extract the gold.
It will be very interesting to see how these events continue to play out to the rest of the world. Especially as the Eastern area of Congo is well known for its rich mineral deposits such as tin, tungsten, tantalum (which are found in electrical products) and gold.
